Porting your existing phone numbers from another carrier into FreedomSoft is a simple process. It only requires a few documents for our support team to initiate the transfer.
Steps to Port Your Phone Numbers
1. Download & Complete the LOA
Download the Letter of Authorization (LOA) at the bottom of this article, fill it out, and sign it.
Be sure the information matches the authorized user’s name and service address exactly as listed by your current carrier.
2. Provide a Recent Phone Bill
Scan or screenshot your most recent phone bill. Ensure it clearly shows the authorized user’s name and address for all numbers you want to port.
3. Submit Documents to Support
Email both documents (LOA and phone bill) to support@freedomsoft.com with the subject line:
PHONE PORT REQUEST
4. FreedomSoft Initiates Transfer
Once our support team receives both documents, the port request will be submitted to the carriers.
Important Notes
-
Porting timelines vary depending on your current carrier and FreedomSoft’s phone provider. Most requests complete in 3 to 14 business days.
-
Once the port is approved, FreedomSoft will bill your card on file for the number(s).
