Opt-Out settings control whether “Opt-Out” language is automatically added to outgoing text messages in FreedomSoft. Including this language helps protect your SMS sending reputation by reducing complaints from recipients who wish to stop receiving messages.
By default, opt-out text is turned ON. You can edit these settings anytime by going to Settings > Phone > Opt-Out tab.

SMS Broadcasts / Click-2-Call Dialer – Appends opt-out text to every SMS sent from the Click-2-Call Dialer. [Learn more about the Click-2-Call Dialer HERE.]

SMS Follow-Up – Adds opt-out language to all text messages sent via automated follow-up.

Communications – Appends opt-out language to the first SMS sent to a number (as required by U.S. phone carriers). Future messages to that contact will not include it.

Auto-Reply – Appends opt-out language to every call or text auto-reply message. You can manage these on the Phone page in Settings for each of your FreedomSoft numbers. [Learn more about setting up phone numbers HERE.]
