FreedomSoft now includes the ability to share KPI Dashboard pages with team members on qualifying subscription levels. This update makes it easier to ensure everyone on your team is looking at the same dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
Sharing is available only on the Grow and Scale subscription levels.
If your account is on Start or a legacy subscription, you will need to upgrade to use this feature.
Where to Access Dashboard Sharing
Dashboard sharing is located inside the Edit Mode of the KPI Dashboard.
To access it:
- Go to your Dashboard.
- Click Edit to enter edit mode.
- A new Page Settings area will appear.
- This panel includes options to:
- Organize your dashboard pages
- Rename pages
- Add a new page
- Remove a page
- Share a page (new feature for Grow/Scale accounts)
The previous “edit and…” option mentioned in earlier versions is now replaced with this expanded Page Settings window.
Sharing a Dashboard Page
Inside Page Settings, you will see a Share Page option. This is where you control how a selected dashboard page is shared with other team members in your account.
You have three sharing strategies, and they behave differently depending on whether team members already have a page with the same name.
Option 1: Copy this page (only if users do not already have it)
- The system checks whether the selected users already have a dashboard page with the same name.
- If they do not have the page, the system copies your version into their dashboards.
- If they already have a page with that name, nothing happens.
- Name matching must be exact for spelling and spacing (capitalization does not matter).
This option is best when you want to distribute a brand-new page to your team.
Option 2: Overwrite pages with the same name
- If users already have a page with the same name, your version will overwrite theirs.
- If they do not have a page with that name, nothing is added.
This option works well when you made updates to an existing shared page and want everyone to have the most recent version.
Option 3: Create a new copy for all users
- A new copy is created for every selected user, regardless of whether they already have a page with the same name.
- No overwriting occurs.
This is helpful when you want to distribute multiple variations or let users keep their existing versions.
Organizing, Renaming, Adding, and Removing Pages
In the same Page Settings area where sharing is located, you can also:
- Reorder pages (move Command Center or other pages to any position)
- Rename pages directly
- Add a new page
- Remove a page (with a confirmation warning)
These page-management controls accompany the new sharing feature in the same interface.
