FreedomSoft’s Lead Finder makes it simple to build targeted lists of landowners anywhere in the U.S. With just a few clicks, you can filter, refine, and save lists that are ready to be used in your marketing campaigns.
Steps to Search Land Data
Step 1: Go to the Tools tab and click Lead Finder.
Step 2: Select Seller Leads and Land, then click the right arrow in the gray toolbar.
Step 3: Choose your target area:

Select a State
-
Enter a city or up to 10 zip codes (comma-separated, no spaces: 11111,22222,33333)

Or select a County from the dropdown.
Step 4: Use Quick Search icons for faster list building:

Search All Properties → All Land, Residential Land, Multi-Family Land

Search MLS → Active, Inactive, Sold properties

Build From Scratch → Start with a blank slate
Once your desired selections have been made, click the right arrow in the gray tool bar to advance to the next step.
Step 5: Add additional filters. You can refine by:

Listing Filters (active/inactive options)
-
Ownership Type (Absentee, Owner-Occupied, Corporate, Trust)

Financial Filters (Last Sale Date, Last Sale Price, Tax Value)

Land Type (Residential, Multi-Family, Agricultural)

Land Filters (Min/Max lot size)
- The LISTING FILTERS section gives you additional filters for listed land based on the Active or Inactive selections.
- The OWNERSHIP TYPE section allows you to include or exclude the 4 types of owners from your list. Be default, all 4 types will be set to "No Preference".
- The FINANCIAL FILTERS section allows you to add in custom filters for Last Sale Date, Last Sale Price and Tax Value.
- The LAND TYPE section allows you to pick from Residential Land, Multi-Family Land, Agricultural Land or to search all. Note that Residential Land is the default selection.
- The LAND FILTERS section allows you to set minimum and maximum lot size parameters.
Step 6: Run the search by clicking the blue circle icon.
Step 7: Review your results (250 records per page). Use Return to Search if adjustments are needed.
Step 8: Select the records using This Page or All Pages and click Add to Lead List.
Step 9: Choose to add to an existing list or create a new one. The Land Reference ID will automatically assign a unique identifier to parcels without full addresses.
Step 10: If creating a new list, set it up by naming it, updating Workflow Automation (optional), and adjusting List Permissions.
- Every list must be named before it can be saved by clicking the blue Create List button.

Once the list has been created, FreedomSoft will start to move the selected leads over to that list. This process typically just takes a second or two but can take longer based on how many records you are moving over.
Step 11: Once saved, find your new list under My Lists in the Leads tab.

Duplicate prevention is built-in: each property has a unique ID.
