From time to time when numbers are purchased through FreedomSoft and then used to make outbound calls, the recipient will see a spam warning.
When this happens, FreedomSoft users often wonder if that spam warning or notice can be removed and the answer is Yes.
Based on our understanding, each of the carriers maintains their own list of "scam" or "spam" numbers. What this means is when you run a test, and we're assuming you called one of your own numbers, that just because you see the scam message doesn't mean that everyone will.
As you know, numbers get passed around between carriers so they can be purchased with some negative history in place based on how the previous owner had used the number.
Because of that, each of the main carriers has a way to change the status for the number and basically remove it from their scam list.
Below you'll find links to the major carriers where you can submit a request to get the spam warning removed.
T-Mobile
T-mobile has made a web form available for reporting single numbers and groups of numbers that are mis-categorized:
https://feedback.fosrvt.com/You can also email callcomplaints@t-mobile.com, and they can often whitelist a number faster than using the form after you provide the owner of the number.
