If you would like to transfer / port current phone numbers into FreedomSoft from your current phone provider, and you know that the provider uses Twilio for their numbers, you can follow the steps below.
PART 1
Contact your current phone provider and request the SID # associated with your account. SID stand s for Sub-Account ID and they will know what you are talking about.
Submit a support ticket to support@freedomsoft.com with an email subject of "Twilio Phone Port". This email should contain the two items listed below.
- The CARRIER SID from your current phone provider.
- A list of phone numbers you want transferred / ported over to FreedomSoft.
The FreedomSoft support team will reply to your ticket with the SID number for your FreedomSoft account.
Now that you have both SID numbers, proceed to Part 2.
PART 2
In this step, you will be opening up a support ticket with your current phone provider requesting the phone number transfer / port.
Simply copy and paste the email below adding in the necessary info where prompted.

My name is [Your_Name], and I would like to request a port / transfer for the following phone numbers.
The numbers I would like to transfer are:
[LIST YOUR NUMBERS HERE]
Please move the numbers as follows:
- Losing SID: [INSERT CURRENT SID # HERE]
- Gaining SID: [INSERT FreedomSoft SID # HERE]
Please make this transfer as quickly as possible.

The FreedomSoft support team will submit a similar email to Twilio which tells them that we approve receiving your numbers into the FreedomSoft SID.
