FreedomSoft's phone system allows you to set up automation for Call Forwarding and Live Answer.

Call Forwarding automatically routes inbound calls to any third-party number, such as a cell phone or office line.

Live Answer lets your FreedomSoft phone numbers ring directly on your computer or in the FreedomSoft mobile app.
Steps to Set Up Call Forwarding and Live Answer
1. Hover over your name in the top navigation and click Settings.
2. Click Call Automation in the left pane and then select the blue Add Call Automation button.
3. Enter a name for your automation. Example: “John’s Live Answer” for an individual setup, or “Team Live Answer” if routing to multiple users.
4. Click the blue + icon
5. Select Live Answer in the pop-up window.
To set up Call Forwarding to a third-party number:

Enter the destination number in the Number field.

To forward to multiple numbers, click Add New Step and enter each number individually.
To set up Live Answer for FreedomSoft users:

Change the Forward to field to User.

Select the FreedomSoft user from the User field.

Add additional users by clicking Add New Step.
To set up a schedule:

Click Manage Schedule to define days/times when Call Forwarding or Live Answer should be active.

Calls outside scheduled hours will route to voicemail.

Ensure your correct time zone is set in the drop-down.
- To select days, simply click on them and they'll turn green.
- Then, click and drag between the times you want the Call Forwarding / Live Answer to be active.
When finished:

Click Create Call Automation to save.
- Connect the automation to one or more numbers using the Numbers column drop-down
- or from the main Phone page in Settings.
