Your User Profile stores your personal information. Many features inside FreedomSoft use this information automatically, so it’s important to keep it accurate and up to date.
How to Edit Your User Profile

Hover over your name in the top right of any screen.

Click My Account.
3. Click the pencil icon to edit fields such as your name, location, and other personal details.
Updating Login Information
From the User Profile area, you can update both your email address and password.

Updating Email Addresses

Click the edit icon beside your email, then click Manage Emails.

Add multiple email addresses if needed. This is useful because certain features allow you to choose which “From” email address to use.

Your main email address will always be considered your primary email.

When you add a new email, you’ll receive a verification email. Click the link to confirm the new address.

Updating Your Password

Click the edit icon next to your password field.

Enter your current password and your new password, then save.
Merge Fields and User Variables
FreedomSoft uses your User Profile information to automatically populate User Variables in documents, emails, and direct mail. This prevents repetitive typing and keeps your branding consistent.
For example:

In a contract,
{!user_first_name}and{!user_last_name}will automatically insert your first and last name from your User Profile.
- In emails, the same merge fields personalize your outgoing communication.
- In direct mail campaigns, these fields automatically merge your details into each piece.
Keeping your User Profile updated ensures all templates across your account stay accurate and professional.
