Your account profile holds your personal information. Various functionality inside FreedomSoft leverage this information, so it's important to keep it up to date.
Editing your Account Profile:
1) Hover over your name in the top right of any screen.
2) Click “My Account.”
3) Click the pencil icon to edit any of the fields for Name, Location, etc.
Updating Login Information:
Within the Account Profile area, you can update your email and password.
1) To update your email addresses, click the edit icon beside your email and then click “Manage Emails.”
- If you have multiple email addresses, add them here. This is helpful because certain features in FreedomSoft allow you to choose the “From” email address associated with what you are sending.
- The main email address that shows is considered your primary email.
- If you add a new email address, you will receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to connect the new address.
2) To edit your password, click the edit icon and enter your current and new password.
Merge Fields:
Various functionality (document templates, email templates, mail templates, etc.) in FreedomSoft leverage “User Variables” in order to prevent repetitive entry. FreedomSoft will use your Account Profile information along with your account’s company profile to populate these variables.
- When the below contract is generated, FreedomSoft will replace the {!user_first_name} variable with the first name in your profile and {!user_last_name} with the last name in your profile.
- When the below email is sent, FreedomSoft will replace the {!user_first_name} variable with the first name in your profile and {!user_last_name} with the last name in your profile.
- When the below direct mail campaign is generated, FreedomSoft will replace the {!user_first_name} variable with the first name in your profile and {!user_last_name} with the last name in your profile.
