FreedomSoft has an internal phone system capable of handling all of your inbound/outbound communication, SMS messaging, lead capture, and lead distribution needs.
Whether you are working the business solo or have a team of 20+ members, FreedomSoft's phone system can seamlessly handle whatever tasks you require of it to do.
Setting up your phone system:
1. Hover over your name in the top, middle section of any screen when logged in.
2. Click Settings.
3. Select Phone in the left pane.
4. Click the blue Add Number button on the Phone page and you will be able to search for available phone numbers.
- Note the radial buttons in the image below that allow you to search for both Local or Toll Free numbers.
- To search for a local number, enter the area code and click Enter/Return on your keyboard or you can click the > icon in the search field as well.
- To search for toll free numbers, enter the first 3 digits (888, 877, etc...) and then click Enter/Return on your keyboard or the > icon in the search field.
5. Once you have identified the number you want, click the blue Buy This Number button for that particular number and it will be added to your account.
6. After you click Buy This Number, you will be taken to a billing screen where you can either use an available phone credit, if you have one, or you'll select which card on file you want the number billed to.

- You can also access the pricing chart by clicking on the Pricing link near the top of the Phone page in Settings.
7. Now that the number has been added to your account, you can continue the set up process. The image below shows how you can link the number to a Campaign for lead capture, add a Call Automation and also turn on call recording with just a few clicks.

8. Next, click the edit icon pictured below to continue the set up of your phone number(s).
9. To set up your voice recording, there are 2 main options available as its not recommended to leave the default message in place.
- The first is to upload an MP3 file of your recording. Set the drop down to "Upload custom message" and then click the Choose File button to select the file from your computer.
- Be sure to click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom of the page when finished.
- The second option is to record the message just like you would on your cell phone. Select "Record custom message" in the drop down and then click the Record button to start. You'll click Stop when finished.
- Remember to click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom of the page when finished.
10. If you would like to receive an email every time your FreedomSoft number receives an inbound phone call, add the email address to the field pictured below and click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
11. The final step to be covered in this tutorial is setting up the Text Auto-Reply and Call Auto-Reply.
What this feature does is send out an automated text message on the first inbound call or text from a new number.
The auto replies only send out one time so these are not on-going messages.
