Often times when working a lead, there can be multiple owners or parties associated with the deal. Some common examples of this are:
- Spouse / Significant Other
- Multiple Business Owners
- Siblings or Other Family Members
- Owner and Listing Agent
The need to be able to add multiple owners/parties onto the same record doesn't apply only to sellers.
Being able to add a secondary touch point to Buyer and Contact records is equally important.
Some common examples of this are:
- Multiple Business Owners
- Additional Contacts at a Title Company
- Multiple Real Estate Agents on the same team
Follow The Steps Below
1. Navigate to any Seller, Buyer, or Contact record in FreedomSoft and click the Green + icon that you see pictured below on the Lead Details, Buyer Details or Contact Details page depending on which record type you are working with.
2. Enter the information for the person and then click the check mark icon to save.
In the example above you can see that both John and Jane Smith are now on the seller lead record for this property.
3. The multiple owner/additional contact will now show as a tab within the record. To mark as primary, click the "Mark as Primary Contact" star icon.
4. After saving the changes, you can now navigate to the Communications area where you'll see separate tabs / threads for each person tied to this record. This allows you to quickly navigate back and forth and speak with the right person or continue the conversation.
Note - If a record has multiple owners/additional contacts added to it, you will be able to visibly see this within the FreedomSoft mobile app as well.
Navigate between the parties by clicking the forward and backward arrows on a record. If a record does not have multiple people associated, you will not see these arrows.
