OverviewIf you have your buyer list in a CSV file format, you can easily import buyers from another system into FreedomSoft. Our recommendation is that you download the sample buyer list CSV file, add the buyer information that you would like to bring into Freedom$oft and then upload the CSV file using the Buyers > Import List feature. The steps to do this are below. The StepsNavigate to Buyers > Import List
Step 1: Choose your CSV file. Step 2: Click the green Next button.
Step 3: We need you to show us where your imported data belongs in FreedomSoft. The column to the left labeled Source Field contains the full list of columns in your CSV file. Touch each Source Fields and match them to the Destination Fields in FreedomSoft. Example: "First Name" in FreedomSoft would map to a "First Name" or "Patrick" column in your CSV file. Click the green next button when you are finished mapping fields. A quick video demonstration of mapping fields: Step 4: Click the View button to preview the first few rows of your data. Make sure all the data from your CSV file looks like it's headed to the right place in FreedomSoft.
Step 5: We take the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act very seriously, so before you're able to send large-scale broadcast emails to your buyers list (e.g. to promote a property), each buyer has to confirm their interest in receiving emails from you. If you select Yes, each buyer in your CSV file will immediately receive an email prompting them to confirm their spot on your buyers list. If you say No, each buyer will be added to FreedomSoft, but you will not be able to send broadcast emails to them. If you select No during the import process, you can still send confirmation emails to your buyer list at a later date.
Step 6: To complete the import process click the green Finish button
